Marc Safran is a studio and portrait photographer at the Delavan Art Center in Syracuse, NY who combines his interest in the visual arts with a career as an ophthalmologist.

From his early darkroom work growing up in New York City, he has had an avid appreciation for film and later digital photography.

In addition to his studio work, he has been able to incorporate his images into his local office and overseas surgical volunteer work.
